HISTORY...
The International Casual Furnishings Association (ICFA), established in 2008, is composed of manufacturers/importers, retailers, designers, sales representatives and associate members in the outdoor and casual furnishings industries. Its predecessor organization, the Summer and Casual Furniture Manufacturers Association (SCFMA), was founded in 1959. The Association's membership, during 2007, voted to expand the Association's membership and focus to better serve the casual furnishings industry going forward. The ICFA held its first board of directors meeting in February 2008 and is actively developing and structuring a host of benefit and service offerings to serve its diverse industry membership.
BENEFITS...
The International Casual Furnishings Association offers a host of services and benefits to its diverse casual furnishings industry membership – traditional retailers, manufacturers/importers, catalog/internet retailers, sales representatives, designers/design firms/design showrooms, suppliers and the media. The benefits and services for our manufacturer/importer members are more structured and varied due to the Association’s previous history serving that group of stakeholders. The Association is currently working to develop a range of membership offerings to for our other industry members to reflect their needs and desires.
