ICFA Retail Benchmarking Survey
To provide casual furniture dealers with business insights not obtainable anywhere else, the ICFA conducts its annual Retail Benchmarking Survey. This members-only Survey is designed to confidentially quantify company operating ratios and other performance measures. Each participating business receives a customized report from ICFA partner Industry Insights that identifies how the company stacks up with other retail operations in the industry as well as recognizes the company’s strengths and weaknesses. Participation in the ICFA Retail Benchmarking Survey is a complimentary member benefit.


Apollo Awards Program Honoring Excellence in Casual Furniture Retailing
ICFA has been recognizing retail excellence in the casual industry more for 50 years with the ICFA sponsorship of the Apollo Awards presented during the premier awards event of the casual furnishings industry. ICFA member companies nominate candidates in the single-store and multi-store categories, which are judged on innovative merchandising and marketing, sales management, growth, sales training, credit history and overall goals of the retail company. Sales Training Program
Sales associates can improve their skills and professionalism with the ICFA Sales Training Certificate Program, led by sales trainer, Greg Welsh, with the Welsh Sales Group. The program consists of three levels of training – Basic, Advanced and Master – including a DVD and test with each one. Upon successful completion of the program, the participant will be awarded a certificate and a lapel pin. Members may purchase the DVDs for $49 each; non-members pay $99 each.

Manufacturers' Quarterly Trends Report
Every ICFA manufacturer/importer member is invited to participate in a confidential survey of operating ratios four times per year. Each participating business receives a customized report from ICFA partner Industry Insights that provides financial benchmarks that compare the operations and practices of the company. Each report is personalized to show the percent of the market controlled by the respondent’s company and how it has changed in recent years. The survey is easily completed online and has a “save and return” functionality that preserves prior year data. Participation in the ICFA Quarterly Trends Survey is a complimentary member benefit.


Design Excellence Awards
ICFA sponsors the Design Excellence Awards for top product designs in the casual furnishings industry. Considered to be the highest recognition of innovative design, this prestigious award honors the year’s best in 11 product categories as judged by a distinguished panel of industry experts. From among the 11 category winners, two products are selected for Lilly Awards for Outdoor Furniture and Outdoor Accents, and one product is honored with the Lillian B. Winchester "Best of Show" Award. The Design Excellence Awards are the only industry awards focusing exclusively on casual furnishings products. The competition is open to ICFA members and non-members whose products will be exhibited at the Casual Market Chicago and fabric suppliers who may or may not be exhibiting. Manufacturing Leadership and Manufacturer of the Year Awards
Each year, ICFA members identify 10 companies for its Manufacturer Leadership Awards. Nominations are judged on quality of manufactured goods, design, merchandising, customer service, ethics/trade relations and communications. The Manufacturer of the Year Award is given to the company receiving the most votes.


Discounts on Exhibition Space at Casual Market Chicago
More than 300,000 square feet of exhibits make Casual Market Chicago the premier resource for indoor and outdoor casual furnishings. ICFA is a co-sponsor of the event, and ICFA members are eligible to receive discounts on the cost of exhibition space at the Market, held each September at the Merchandise Mart in Chicago. ICFA Awards Gala
Industry celebration held at the Casual Market Chicago featuring a reception, dinner, entertainment and awards presentation. The Design Excellence Best of Show Award and Manufacturer of the Year Awards are presented, along with the Association's Sales Representative of the Year, Apollo and Lifetime Achievement Awards. To be hosted in 2016 on Thursday, September 22.

ICFA Lounge at Casual Market Chicago
Get away from the bustle of Market to enjoy refreshments, check email, host a small meeting or simply relax for a few moments at the ICFA Lounge. Open daily, Market attendees can obtain information on ICFA’s educational curriculum, merchandise and discount programs, special events and membership.


Fuel Card Program
AHFA/ICFA members participating in the AHFA Discount Fuel Network for their trucking fleets are saving thousands of dollars each month on fuel expenses. In a partnership with Love’s Travel Stops, Wilco/Hess, Kangaroo Express and a group of independent truck stops in the United States and Canada, participants receive cost-plus pricing with no transaction fees and/or reduced transaction fees. In addition, the AHFA Discount Fuel Network offers a retail-minus price at Petro, TA and several other smaller truck stop groups. The AHFA Discount Fuel Network runs on the T-Chek and Comdata platforms. Starting July 2015, the network will run on a third platform, WEX/Fleet One. The network encompasses more than 800 truck stops across the United States and Canada. The AHFA Discount Fuel Network, managed by OTR Fuel Consulting LLC, has over 45 participating furniture companies and specialized furniture carriers, totalling over 10 million gallons of fuel a month.
