We are thrilled to introduce the new ICFA website to our members, the casual furnishings industry and consumers across the globe. The ICFA Marketing Committee charged with redesigning the site had several objectives. We were asked to develop a stunning online forum for posting the most up-to- the minute business news, accessing the many and growing ICFA membership benefits, promoting our vision and values, and creating a spectacular showcase for our members’ hottest products. And yes, we wanted it to compel more manufacturers, importers, retailers, designers, sales reps and suppliers to join the ICFA!
Executive Director Jackie Hirschhaut took on this project with great enthusiasm and vision, assembling a committee that included Terri Lee Rogers, Ward Usmar, Henry Vanderminden and Mary Beth Singleton. We went through an RFP process that resulted in the selection of Dani Mackey Communications and Canic Interactive to design the new website.
New copy was crafted, and every aspect of the old site reviewed and updated to add interest, accessibility and convenience of use. We solicited our members for product photos to be placed throughout the site, included in a portfolio section and updated regularly. We also welcome guest bloggers and company news to help spread the word about successes and changes throughout the industry. It is easier than ever to join the ICFA on our new site, as well as register for events, classes, webinars or sales training, or nominate an ICFA awards winner. We believe our new website truly represents the best of our industry while giving the ICFA an exciting new online presence.
