ICFA Creates New Sales Representative Council

March 16, 2016
High Point, NC – In a move to better serve its independent members, the International Casual Furnishings Association has created a new Sales Representative Council to provide insight and advice to the ICFA Board of Directors.

Bryan Echols, a sales representative in Concord, N.C., and a member of the ICFA Board of Directors, will serve as 2016 chairman of the Council.

“One of our goals for ICFA has been to significantly increase participation in our association. The formation of the Sales Representative Council offers this key segment that opportunity,” said Gary McCray, president of Klaussner Outdoor and 2016 Chairman of ICFA. “This new group can only add to the excitement being generated with our many active committees and the Retail Council already in place.”

Members serving three-year terms on the Sales Representative Council include Mark Cannon, St. Charles, Ill.; Victoria Dawson, Huntington Beach, Calif.; Ed Hatton, Lexington, Ky.; Claire Walvick, Gorham, Maine; and Saara Wissbaum, Copperapolis, Calif.

Members serving two-year terms include John Balch, Murfreesboro, Tenn.; David Digirolamo, Dublin, Calif.; Andy Hamilton, Dallas; Justin Pfahl, Parkland, Fla.; and Charlie Smith, La Quinta, Calif.

For its first activity, the Sales Representatives Council is hosting an after-hours mixer at Moe’s Cantina River North from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 13, during the ICFA Preview Show in Chicago. Members and prospective members are invited to stop by at 155 West Kinzie Street.
