Ed Hatton

After marrying Julie, Ed Hatton moved from Kentucky to West Palm Beach, Florida where he got his start in the outdoor category delivering patio furniture for a small company, Babbo’s Imports. After three months on the job, he started selling patio furniture. He was promoted to store manager and opened a second location.

Ed was later recruited for a management job at Porch & Patio in Miami for a few years prior to going to work for Carls Patio, where he spent over 10 years as manager of their North Palm Beach location.

In 2006, the couple wanted to return to their home state so their son, Logan, could grow up around both families. Ed got the opportunity to become a sales rep for Lloyd Flanders and Classic Cushion in Kentucky, Ohio and West Virginia before Lloyd Flanders expanded his territory to include Indiana and Illinois.

After 30 years in various roles within the casual furniture industry, Ed thinks the 18 years he spent in retail has helped him as a manufacturers’ representative in understanding the needs of his retailers and their sales staff. He hopes that his experience has helped him help them.
