Since being founded in 1988 by Anne Ebel, Ebel Incorporated has grown from being a distributor of resin benches to becoming a premier source for high quality woven, aluminum and mixed media furniture. Ebel is also committed to environmental responsibility. Since 2007, the company has partnered with Trees for the Future, an organization committed to promoting agroforestry and providing renewable energy to impoverished areas. For every piece of furniture produced, Trees for the Future plants one tree. Another initiative was the launch of “Eco-Weave,” made with 50% recycled ocean plastic. Imagine revitalizing land in deforested regions and ridding the ocean of trash just by relaxing in your favorite chair.
