John Balch

John Balch joined Samsonite Furniture as a sales representative in 1983 soon after earning a Master of Arts degree in Finance from Middle Tennessee State University. Over 14 years at the company, he held various roles culminating as Vice President of Sales & Marketing for casual furniture.

In 1997, John briefly left the industry before returning to join Lloyd Flanders as National Sales Manager in 2003.

He began as an independent manufacturers’ representative in 2005 and now proudly represents Casual Cushion Corp., Jensen Outdoor, Winston Furniture Co., Brown Jordan and SoPoly. John has been honored three times as Sales Rep. of the Year for Winston Furniture, twice with Brown Jordan’s Hubert Jordan award and four times with Brown Jordan’s Earl V. Hughes award.

With his wife Sheila, John has three successful adult children, two fantastic daughters-in-law, and five amazing grandsons. All enjoy living near Nashville where John has many opportunities to practice his hobby as an amateur banjo and guitar player.
