Jensen Outdoor Appoints Karen Phillips and Justin Pfahl as Sales Representatives of Record
RICHMOND, VA., May 1, 2026 — Jensen Outdoor, North America’s leading sustainable luxury wood furniture manufacturer, today announced the appointments of Karen Phillips and Justin Pfahl as sales representatives of record, effective May 1, 2026.
Phillips will lead the Missouri, Kansas, Nebraska, and Omaha metro territory. Pfahl will represent the Central and South Florida markets.
The two appointments mark a deliberate investment in regions where Jensen Outdoor sees strong runway for growth among retailers, interior designers, and the broader design trade, while preserving the long-standing partnerships that define the brand.

Karen Phillips to Represent Missouri, Kansas, Nebraska, and the Omaha Metro
An interior designer by training, Karen Phillips has spent her entire career in home furnishings. Her experience spans visual merchandising, management, and buying, including more than 10 years as a multi-category buyer with outdoor furniture among her categories for a large retailer.
For the past six years, Phillips has worked as an independent manufacturer’s representative, partnering with retailers and designers to represent premium outdoor furniture lines.
Phillips is no stranger to the Jensen Outdoor family. She has worked alongside Jack Glynn and Mark Cannon on the team that earned Jensen’s 2025 “Outside of Ordinary” Territory Growth Award – Retail. She now steps into a territory of her own, expanding Jensen Outdoor’s presence across Missouri, Kansas, Nebraska, and the Omaha metro.
“Karen has been part of the Jensen story for years, and we have watched her work firsthand,” said Echols. “She brings an interior designer’s eye, a buyer’s discipline, and a representative’s relationship skill. That blend is rare, and it is exactly what this territory deserves.”
Justin Pfahl to Represent Central and South Florida
Justin Pfahl brings more than 23 years of experience in the casual furnishings industry, spanning buying, selling, product development, and marketing. Together with his assistant, Pat Thomas, Pfahl manages Jensen Outdoor’s Florida territory.
Pfahl was named ICFA Sales Representative of the Year at the 2013 Apollo Awards in Chicago. He went on to earn OW Lee Sales Representative of the Year in 2019 and Treasure Garden Sales Representative of the Year in 2025. His career reflects a consistent record of opening accounts, growing territories, and earning the trust of retailers and designers.

Jensen Outdoor Thanks Tom Nolan and Ed Brookes
Jensen Outdoor also extends sincere thanks to Tom Nolan and Ed Brookes, who concluded their tenure as Jensen Outdoor sales representatives on April 30, 2026, and are retiring from the role.
