Mike Hammer

Mike Hammer began his college education at the University of So. Florida in 1977.  After moving to Ohio in 1980, he completed his BA/Marketing degree at the University of Akron while working full-time as a salesman at Runions Furniture. He continued working at Runions till 2000, when he became an independent sales representative in Ohio and West Virginia with Telescope Furniture.  Mike also served as a regional sales manager for Telescope, working with sales reps and stores to optimize the sales experience for dealers and their customers.  In 2012, Mike joined Tropitone furniture as a sales rep for OH, western PA, and W Va.

Mike’s professional growth is a testament to the power of partnerships. Over the years, his territory has expanded (Ohio, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and Kentucky), in part thanks to his collaboration with his good friend and business partner, Donn Raseman.  Today, Mike proudly represents Tropitone, Castelle, Seaside Casual and Casual Cushion/Earnest Pillows.

At home in Wooster, Ohio, he has been married to Elaine for the past 40 years and is the father of two daughters and grandfather of five.
