Make Dad King of the Backyard for Father’s Day
High Point, NC – Ahhh, it’s June, an especially delightful month. It marks the official start of summer, and it’s the month when we get to celebrate our dear old dads. This year, instead of another boring tie or coffee mug for Father’s Day, why not treat Dad to something special that will let him be king of his own backyard?
There are many notable new products that will allow Dad to enjoy his outdoor living space in greater comfort and style. “Because outdoor living is more popular than ever, manufacturers are getting extra creative in developing products that enhance the growing number of outdoor spaces,” said Jackie Hirschhaut, executive director of the International Casual Furnishings Association.
For dads who prefer to relax, there are plenty of new hammocks, rockers and seating units that will make him feel special while relishing some alfresco resting time. New oversized hammocks are ultra comfortable for one person but big enough for the whole family. Dad would probably love a little alone time for a siesta before everyone climbs in for family snuggling. With these hammocks, he can have it both ways.
New seating units featuring bar areas and fire pits would let Dad create his own outdoor man pit. On his special day, he can relax while his family serves him beverages and waits on him hand and foot. Later, the space would be just as perfect for hanging out with his guy friends or for the entire family to share with friends and neighbors. Both Mom and Dad would love these offerings because, not only are they super comfortable and stylish, but they also score high on the cool scale.
Dads also would appreciate a new rocking chair that requires virtually no maintenance, especially one that is environmentally friendly as well. Manufacturers are using recycled materials such as plastic milk jugs to create beautiful new products for the outdoors.
“With so much family time being spent in outdoor spaces these days, it’s the perfect time to treat Dad to a product that will make that time even more comfortable and enjoyable, for him and the whole family,” Hirschhaut said.
