That’s the philosophy Larry and Marianne Chapman have embraced since December 7th, 1979, the day they opened a modest woodstove showroom near Seattle.

The showroom grew quickly to a second and third location. In 1982, Rich’s added outdoor furniture, as well as hot tubs and gourmet outdoor grills.
They put in long hours, providing excellent care to everyone.
As Larry likes to say, “Prayer and persistence made us what we are.” Rich’s has over 100 employees and subcontractors, treating them as family. Many are second and third generation employees from the same families. Vendors are treated as valued partners.
Today, Rich’s for the Home has six spacious Puget Sound showrooms, with over 50,000 sq. feet of luxury outdoor furnishings. Rich’s is a Northwest leader in offering products for the home that bring people together. Key lines include Tropitone, Ebel, River City, Jensen Outdoor, Homecrest, Sunvilla, OW Lee, Telescope Casual Furniture, Treasure Garden, Frankford Umbrellas, Hanamint, Lloyd Flanders, Gensun and Patio Renaissance.
